Malaysia Employment Law 2025: Key Changes Employers & Workers Must Know

AutoCount Signs an MOU with the Philippine Cultural College

On May 6, 2025, AutoCount Philippines Inc. officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Philippine Cultural College (PCC), marking the start of a tech-driven approach to accounting education in PCC.

This collaboration is the first of its kind between AutoCount and the Philippine Cultural College and reflects a shared vision to prepare students with computerized accounting skills and industry-relevant skills.

The ceremony held at PCC’s Quezon City campus brought together senior leaders from both organizations. Key attendees included AutoCount Malaysia CEO Mr. YT Choo, Sales & Marketing Director Mr. Alex Ng, and AutoCount Philippines Branch Country Manager Mr. Vanadium Ho, along with Red Octagon Inc. Managing Director Mr. Michael Chen Guzman, a PCC alumnus and instrumental facilitator of the initiative.

Representing Philippine Cultural College, the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Niu Siok Bee, together with campus vice presidents, deans, and academic leaders, reflecting both the organizations’ dedication to improving education by embracing new and better ways of teaching.

Bringing Real-World Tools to the Classroom

This collaboration will incorporate AutoCount Computerized Accounting Course V2 into the curriculum at both PCC's Quezon City and Caloocan campuses. The course is built based on AutoCount Accounting, an ISO27001:2022-certified software application that is widely used by SMEs in Southeast Asia.

The course aims to equip students with practical and hands-on experience in computerized accounting. To help lecturers be better prepared to deliver the course, AutoCount Education Division will provide PCC faculty with a Train-the-Trainer program to ensure instructors are well-equipped with the tools and skills needed to effectively deliver the course content and help students apply what they’ve learned.

Building Future-Ready Professionals

AutoCount is committed to helping shape the workforce of the future. By working closely with PCC’s academic team, it is helping to establish a learning environment where students don’t only study accounting, they also get practical and hands-on experience with the same tools businesses are using today.

As the Philippines continues its journey toward digitalization initiatives like BIR CAS and electronic invoicing (EIS), programs like this play a key role in equipping students to support businesses in working more efficiently and in staying compliant with BIR.
